The MFSA has issued the new Regulations and Pension Rules under the revamped Retirement Pensions Act 2011.
The Minister of Finance has established, by virtue of Legal Notice 4 (2015) that the 1st of January 2015 will be the date when all the provisions of the said ACT shall come into force. As declared by the Act itself, the RPA’s aim is that of regulating Retirement Schemes, Retirement Funds and Service providers licensed to provide such services.
