The Malta International Training Centre (MITC), established in 1981 meets the needs of a comprehensive training centre for the insurance, financial services and risk management industries. Working closely with local and international training institutions, the MITC is wholly dedicated to educational excellence in all its aspects. It has trained participants from over 60 nations and runs a number of internationally accredited programmes.
The first level of academic studies is the Foundation platform giving a basic but broad perspective of insurance. The second tier refers to the technical level which leads to a diploma in insurance. At MITC, students can follow enhanced programmes in insurance that also attract exemptions from the CII.
The highest level of insurance studies offered by MITC are the advanced level courses, better known as ACII programmes, which prepare students to sit for the CII UK assessment.
MITC, as a training centre, offers its services to a range of participants including those interested in pursuing a career in insurance/financial services, others requiring an operating licence, those interested in studying for professional qualifications, those who would like to keep abreast with the ever increasing availability of knowledge as well as others who wish to comply with their continuous professional development requirements.
