IAM stresses need to continue dialogue to ensure principles of fair risk underwriting are maintained
The Malta Insurance Association has thrown its support behind the government’s plan to introduce the ‘Right to be Forgotten’ legislation, which will ease the process for cancer survivors applying for credit or a mortgage.
The association told Times of Malta it is “broadly in agreement” with the proposed time limits, which mirror EU directives, but stressed the necessity of a continued dialogue to ensure the principles of fair risk underwriting are maintained in the long term.
