Police intercepted two drivers performing dangerous drifting manoeuvres in a Ta’ Qali car park, while a separate pursuit saw a motorist accelerate beyond 160km/h through Rabat before being stopped in Siġġiewi. The vehicle was seized and charges are expected as part of an intensified enforcement crackdown.
This was revealed by the Malta Police Force in a second statement in three days detailing fresh enforcement action against dangerous driving and illegal manoeuvres in the Ta’ Qali and Rabat areas.
In a press statement today, the police reported conducting continuous patrols and inspections on Tuesday evening in response to ongoing traffic irregularities and reports of perilous driving.
