Random roadside drink, drug testing law approved by parliament
Safer roads start with stronger enforcement... The Insurance Association Malta welcomes Parliament’s recent approval of random roadside drink and drug testing. The authorities need the right tools to strengthen enforcement, improve road safety and deter reckless behaviour.
Road safety is everyone’s responsibility: respect, patience and observance of the rules save lives. We can all do our bit by choosing a designated driver or alternative transport to keep alcohol and drugs off our roads.
