There are many laws that are too open to interpretation
It would be wise for society, the authorities and the judiciary to tread carefully before rushing to throw the book at all those found guilty of serious traffic accidents. Because leniency may be just as unfair as rigidity.
Madam Justice Consuelo Scerri Herrera raised a very valid point when she pointed out the inconsistencies in the law which led to conflicting judgments.
