Drive Change for Road Safety
Incidents like these highlight the urgent need for roadside drug testing. As Insurance Association Malta we strongly appeal to the authorities to expedite the necessary legal changes and equip police with the tools and training required for effective roadside drug testing. Currently, police still lack the means to enforce the law when it comes to roadside drug-driving, which alongside breathalyser tools, will help drive change for road safety. We remain committed to collaborating with the Malta Police Force, whether it is for procuring drug testing kits or providing essential training.
