We do not request genetic test results, insurers hit back at PL MP claim
The Association was referring to claims by PL MP Amanda Spiteri Grech, who told parliament last month that people were not taking genetic tests to check for predisposition to certain diseases because their information was being given to insurance companies.
Maltese insurance companies do not request genetic test results as part of underwriting or claims assessments, the Insurance Association Malta assured on Wednesday.
